Answer:

Rs. 12,500

Step-by-step explanation:

let c.p. of watch for Mohit = x

mohit sold it at a profit of 10%

so,

sp of mohit = x+10x/100

=110x/100

=11x/10

s.p. of mohit = c.p. for Karim

no,

Karim sold it at profit of 4%

so,s.p. for Karim = 11x+11x*4

= ----- ------

= 10. 10*100

=1100x+44x/1000

s.p. of a Karim = c.p. of a Rahim.

but,Rahim pays 14300 for it.

Therefore,

1144x/1000 = 14300

x = 14300*1000/1144

x = rs 12,500

rahim pays 14300 for watch .

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{4}{100}  \times 14300 = 572 \\ 572rs \:  \: \: profit \:  \:  done \: to \: karim \\  \\ 14300 - 572 = 13728rs \:  \: this \: is \:  \\ pays \: by \: karim \: to \: mohit \:  \\  \mohit \: gate \: 10\% \: profit \:  \:  \:  \\  \:  \frac{10}{100}  \times 13728 = 1372.8rs \:

i

13728-1372.8= 12355.2rs pays by mohit.
