mohit went to a shop and brougth a shirt of rs 16890 including 12% gst the shopkeeper didn't gave him receipt. find the gst not paid by shopkeeper to goverment

GST not paid by shopkeeper = 12% of the price of shirt without GST
let the price of the shirt be = x
now,
Price of shirt + 12% of the price of shirt = 16890
x + 12% of x = 16890
x + (12/100)*x = 16890
112x/100 = 16890 .......... (112x came after taking L.C.M
112x = 16890*100
x = (16890*100)/112
x = 15080.36
GST = 16890 - 15080.36 = 1809.64
which is also the amount not paid by the shopkeeper to the govt.
