Normality=n×molarity=n×no. of moles of solute÷volume of solution in litres
=2×mass/molar mass÷volume of solution in litres
=2×98/98÷1
=2×1÷1
=2N
∴ Normality of solution is 2N.
(Here n is the n factor, n factor of H₂SO₄ is 2 as here there are 2 hydrogen atoms. )
