Normality=n×molarity=n×no. of moles of solute÷volume of solution in litres

                =2×mass/molar mass÷volume of solution in litres

                =2×98/98÷1

                =2×1÷1

                =2N

∴ Normality of solution is 2N.

(Here n is the n factor, n factor of H₂SO₄ is 2 as here there are 2 hydrogen atoms. )
