Given : Normality of aluminium sulphate is 0.6 N

To find : The molarity of aluminium sulphate.

Solution : we know,

Normality = n - factor × Molarity

n - factor is the charge on Cation/anion. for aluminium sulphate Al₂(SO₄)₃, n - factor is charge on Cation.

charge on Al ion = 2(+3) = +6

so, n - factor = 6

now, 0.6 = 6 × Molarity

⇒Molarity = 0.6/6 = 0.1 M

Therefore molarity of aluminium sulphate in solution is 0.1 M
