Answer:

M = 3.6

Explanation:

V=250ml

W=63 g

oxalic acid=( C O O H ) 2

so m=90

M = n/ V (in ml) x 1000

n = W/m

Answer:

Molarity = 2 M

Explanation:

GIVEN :

Mass of oxalic acid = 63 g

volume of solution = 250 ml

TO FIND : Molarity of solution

SOLUTION :

     Molarity = ( no. of moles of solute(n) / volume of solution  (ml) )  x 1000

           n = given wt. of oxalic acid / molecular mass of oxalic acid

            n = \frac{63}{126}  where, 126 = molecular mass of oxalic acid

         n = 0.5 mol

Molarity =( 0.5/250 ) x 1000

 Molarity = 2M
