Answer: Molality = 11.11 m

Explanation:

Let the total no. of moles be 'n'. Also, let the no. of moles of glucose be n1 and that of water be n2.

According to the question,

n1 = n*1/16

n1 + n2 = n

n2 = n - n/16 = n*15/16

No. of moles of water = given weight of water(solvent) / Molecular weight

n*15/16 = weight of water / 18

Weight of water = 45n/8 g

Molality = [No. of moles of solute / Weight of solvent(in g)]*1000

m = (n/16)*(8/45n)*1000 = 1000/90 = 100/9 = 11.11 m
