30% solution of urea signifies in 100g of mixture present 30g is urea present so, 70g of water must be present to make it aqueous mixture of solute and solvent.

So, now we have to convert the grams into moles, to do that we have to use the formulae of moles.

Number of moles=given mass/molar mass.

Moles of urea=30/60 = 0.5moles

Moles of water=70/18 = 3.8 moles

As solute here is urea so the mole fraction of urea is 0.5moles/3.8moles = 0.13
