atomic mass of;

carbon -12

hydrogen-1

oxygen- 16

molecular mass = 12+1×3+16+16+1

= 12+3+32+1

= 15+33

= 48 a.m.u

HOPE this HELPED u!!

hi mate

here is your answer

CH3COOH

THIS IS AN CARBOXYLIC ACID.

OR ETHANOIC ACID.

Now,

Mass of carbon atoms in the molecule= 2× mass of carbon atom

= 2× 12

=24u

Mass of hydrogen atoms in molecule

= 4×1

=4u

Mass of oxygen atoms in molecule

=16×2

=32u

So molecular mass of CARBOXYLIC acid

=32+4+24

=60u

hope it helps
