Given info : pressure and temperature of any perfect gas are 600 N/m² and 27°C respectively.

To find : The molecular volume of the perfect gas is ...

solution : molecular volume = volume of gas/no of moles

we know, PV = nRT

so, V = nRT/P

so, molecular volume = V/n = RT/P

here T = temperature = 27°C = 300 K

P = pressure = 600 × 10³ N/m²

R = universal gas constant = 287.058 J/kg K

now molecular volume = (287.058 × 300)/(600000)

= (287.058 × 3)/(6000)

= 0.143529 m³/kg mol ≈ 0.15 m³/kg mol

Therefore the molecular volume of the perfect gas would be 0.15 m³/kg mol
