In my opinion options 3 and  4 are correct.

Explanation

Carbon is the compound that forms covalent bond as it cannot donate the electrons. It can only share them.

             Rest of the compounds  1 and 2 are ionic compounds I.e they are formed by giving and accepting electrons.
