it gives 16g of oxygen

so then 9g of mg(no3)2 gives =16/144×9

=1g of oxygen

moles of 1g of oxygen is 1/16=0.0625moles

to get no of oxygen atoms we want to multiply moles with avagadro number then we get the answer....
