Advantage:
1) The molten carbonate fuel cell have capacity to generate high grade waste heat.
2)Spontaneous internal re-forming of the fuels of light hydrogen carbons are supported by these cell.
3)These are quick in reaction which means these have fast reaction kinetics
4)They have high efficiency also.
Disadvantage:
1) There have high intolerance level towards the sulfur . Even the anode performance loss happen when there is 1-5 ppm of sulfur in the fuel gas.
2)There is the liquid handling problem due to the liquid electrolyte.
3)There warm-up time is quite high which they need.
