Moment of inertia of a uniform circular disc about a diameter is i. find its moment of inertia about a tangent perpendicular to its plane.

MI about diameter =mr^2/4=i
4xi= mr^2
MI ABOUT tangent passing perpendicular to it's plan =3mr^2/2=3x4i/2=12i/2=6i
