SP = Rs. 1648

if gain = 15%
gain% = (SP-CP)/CP * 100
⇒ 15 = (1648-CP)/CP * 100
⇒ 15/100 = (1648-CP)/CP
⇒ 0.15CP = 1648 - CP
⇒ 0.15CP + CP = 1648
⇒ CP = 1648/1.25 = Rs. 1318.4

if loss = 9%
loss% = (CP-SP)/CP * 100
⇒ 9% = (CP-1648)/CP * 100
⇒ 9/100 = (CP-1648)/CP
⇒ 0.09CP = CP - 1648
⇒ CP - 0.09CP = 1648
⇒ CP = 1648/0.91= Rs. 1810.9

Total CP =1318 +1810 = 3128
3128/2=1564
each dress c.p is 1564
