as the ques said that weight is 38%
just do
750X38/100 = 285
hope this helps:)

Given:

  • Mona's weight on earth = 750 N
  • The force of gravity of mars compared to earth = 38%
  • Acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s

To Find:

  • Mona's weight on mars and her mass on earth.

Solution:

1. To find the weight of mona on mars:

The relation between the weight of mars and earth is given by,

weight on mars = weight on earth × 38% → {equation 1}

On substituting the values in equation 1 we get,

⇒ weight on mars = 750 ×38/100 = 750 × 0.38 {multiplying the terms}

⇒ weight on mars = 285 N

2. To find the mass of mona on earth:

We are using the formula,

F = m×g → {equation 2}

Where "m" is the mass and "g" is the acceleration due to gravity

On substituting the given values in equation 2 we get,

⇒ 750 = m×(10)

⇒ m = 750/10 {dividing the terms}

⇒ m = 75 Kg

∴ The weight of mona on mars = 285 N and mass on earth = 75 Kg.
