Given :

Profit percent of Mondeep : 8%

Cost spent by Raktim to repairs : 5400

Selling price of Raktim :- 113400

To find :

The price at which Mondeep bought the car.

Solution :

To find the price at which Mondeep bought the car, first we should find the selling price of Mondeep at which he sold it to Raktim.

Selling price of Mondeep :

{\sf \dashrightarrow 113400 - 5400}

{\sf \dashrightarrow Rs.108000}

Now, as we the selling price of Mondeep, we can easily find the price at which he bought.

Cost paid by Mondeep to buy the car :

{\sf \dashrightarrow Cost \: price = \dfrac{100}{(100 + Profit \%)} \times SP}

{\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{100}{(100 + 8)} \times 108000}

{\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{100}{108} \times 108000}

{\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{25}{27} \times 108000}

{\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{25 \times 108000}{27} = \dfrac{2700000}{27}}

{\sf \dashrightarrow \cancel \dfrac{2700000}{27} = 100000}

Hence, the cost paid by Mondeep to buy the car is ₹100000.
