because in ancient time when money don't exist
there is a system in which people exchange their goods in the offer of other good
but this barter system is not very useful take an example if a farmer wanna selling his wheat to a shoe seller but shoe seller don't want wheat .he want rice instead or sugar it shows that's they cant satisfy their needs
so if money is there farmer can sell his wheat to any customer and get money in return and with the money shoeseller can buy sugar for him
