Money Poem Appreciation
- The poem, in my opinion, effectively captures the temptation of money, which frequently entices a great deal of phoney individuals into one's life. Only when one is impoverished does one truly understand what true happiness is all about because that is when one discovers who his or her true friends are.
- The poem's theme is that wealth and material success are not prerequisites for genuine joy and contentment. The need for the poor to become wealthy is not as great as the need for the wealthy to lose their wealth.
- Being poor actually allows one to experience true bliss. This poem appeals to me because it illustrates the true value of money.
- The poem "Money" captures the will of a poet who aspires to live in poverty in order to experience eternal happiness. Only when the economy is struggling can one understand the value of money. It's better to have friends who are affluent in spirit than wealthy in money.
