Distance = 3 km = 3000 m

Time = 20 min = 1/3 hrs = 1200 s

Hence; speed [in km/min] = d/t = 0.15 km/min

Also speed [in km/h] = d/t = 9 km/hr

And, speed [in m/s] = 2.5 m/s

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!

Concept:

Distance is a numerical indicator of how far apart two things or places are. In both everyday English and science, the term "distance" can refer to a physical length or an estimate based on other considerations. The distance between two points can be expressed in a variety of ways.

Given:

Determine Monica's cycling speed for the 3 km she completes in 20 minutes in terms of kilometres per hour, m/s, and kilometer per min.

Find:

Answer:

Time is the collection of things that happen throughout a period of time, from the perspective of history to the tomorrow. Time can be used to quantify, contrast, or even rank the length of events or the gaps among them.

To calculate time, use the scheduling theory, t = d/s, which claims that time is equal to distances divided by speed. To calculate the time, multiply the entire distance travelled by the rate. Time + speed are added to detect the length. Simply writing out the calculations as s=d/t, where s originally stood for speed, d for distance, and t for time, makes them easier to understand.

Distance = 3km\\Time = 20 mins\\Distance = 3000m ( 3*1000m = 3000m)\\Time = 1200s ( 20*60s= 1200s)

speed= \frac{distance}{time}

= 3000m/1200s\\= 5m/2s\\= 2.5m/s
