Teacher- Why didn't you do your homework?

Monty- Sir, there was no electricity at my home.

Teacher- So you could have done the homework under the light of a candle.

Monty- Sir I couldn't use the matchstick.

Teacher- Why?

Monty- Sir the matchbox was kept in the pooja room.

Teacher- So why couldn't you take it from the pooja room?

Monty- Sir, I hadn't taken a bath.

Teacher- And why hadn't you taken a bath?

Monty- There was no water at our home sir.

Teacher- And why wasn't there any water?

Monty- Sir the water motor was not working.

Teacher- And why was the motor not working?

Monty- Sir, I told you this before, there was no electricity at our home. :p
