First of all you should know about reducing and non reducing sugars.
REDUCING
- These are those saccharides which can reduce Fehling solution.
-They have (C=O) group.
As all disaccharides have C=O group they all are reducing sugars.
NON REDUCING
They do not reduce Fehling solution
All monosaccharides are included in it.
