Ratio of monthly income = 5 : 27
Means 5X : 27X
Ratio of expenses = 3 : 5
Means 3X : 5X
Therefore, ratio of saving = 5X - 3X : 27X - 5X
= 2X : 22X
As given savings is Rs 80 each
Means Ravi 2X = 80 Sanjeev 22X = 80
X = 80 / 2___ X = 80 / 22
X = 40 ______X = 40 / 11
Therefore monthly incomes are
Ravi 5 x 40 = Rs 200 and
Sanjeev = (27 x 40) / 11
= 1080 / 11
= Rs 98.1818....
Means 5X : 27X
Ratio of expenses = 3 : 5
Means 3X : 5X
Therefore, ratio of saving = 5X - 3X : 27X - 5X
= 2X : 22X
As given savings is Rs 80 each
Means Ravi 2X = 80 Sanjeev 22X = 80
X = 80 / 2___ X = 80 / 22
X = 40 ______X = 40 / 11
Therefore monthly incomes are
Ravi 5 x 40 = Rs 200 and
Sanjeev = (27 x 40) / 11
= 1080 / 11
= Rs 98.1818....
