Given:

Monthly income of the Tom is ₹120000.

To find:

The amount of money left after all the expanse.

Solution:

1) He spend 1/6th of his income on education so the expanse is ₹20000.

2) Then spend 1/3rd on installment of the housing loan which is ₹40000.

3) The remaining amount after the above expanse is 60000.

4) Tom spend on food is 1/4 of 60000 which is 15000 and 2/5 of 60000 on rest items that is 24000.

5) Total expanse of Tom is 20000+40000+15000+24000 = ₹ 99000.

6) Money left with him is 120000 - 99000 = ₹ 21000.

The amount of money left after all the expanse is ₹21000.
