Monu buys an article for ₹1215 and sells it to sonu at profit of 20%. sonu tells it to Ram at a profit of 25%. What does Ram pay for it.​

Ram will pay Rs.1722.5.

Add the Profit percentage of Monu and sonu, then divide it by hundred and multiply by price of article. After that add the price of article to profit price.

Monu's profit =20/100 ×1215 +1215

=243 +1215=1458.

Sonu's profit =25/100×1458+1458

=364.5+1458=1722.5
