Therefore

Monu's father age = x + 29 years

Also given that Monu's grandfather is 26 years older than Monu's father

Therefore

Monu' grandfather age = Monu's father age + 26 years

                                        =  x + 29 + 26

                                        =  x + 55 years

Also given that the sum of their ages = 135

Therefore

x + x + 29 + x + 55 = 135

3x + 84 = 135

3x = 135 - 84

x = 51/3

x = 17 years

The age of Monu = x years = 17 years
