Given : GO = 6 cm, OA = 4.5 cm and diagonal GA - 6.8 cm

To Find : Draw a parallelogram

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment GO  = 6 cm

Step 2 : Using compass width = 4.5 cm and taking O as center draw an arc

Step 3 : Using compass width = 6.8 cm and taking G as center draw an arc such that it intersect arc drawn in previous step at A

Step 4 :  Join OA

Step 5 : Using compass width =6 cm and taking A as center draw an arc

Step 6 : Using compass width = 4.5 cm and taking G as center draw an arc such that it intersect arc drawn in previous step at L

Step 7 :  Join AL & GL

Parallelogram GOAL is constructed

Step 1 : Draw a Line segment RC = 6 cm using ruler

Step 2 : Find mid point of RC with the help of ruler or Compass using bisection. & Mark it O

Step 3 Draw an angle of 50°  at RO and extend the angled line both sides

Step 4 Cut the angled line from O  of 2 cm length & mark them A & E

Step 5 join RA , AC , CE & RE

Parallelogram RACE  is constructed   with RC = 6 cm & AE = 4 cm  & angle between RC & AE is 50°
