In his childhood he had three close friends - Ramanadha shastri, Aravindan, Shivaprakashan. Once he was in 5th class a new teacher asked him not to sit in the front seat along with the high caste Brahmin boys. Abdul found Ramanadha Sastry whipping as he went to the last row. This made a lasting impression on Abdul.
After that Lakshmana Sastry summoned the new teacher because the teacher wanted to spread the poison of social inequality and communal intolerance in the minds of the innocent children. He ask the teacher to feel sorry I quit the school and the island.
Moral : All are one . No one should be discriminated on the basis of caste, sex , religion.
