A rich man and his servant is a short story about a rich man who have a lot of servants with him and one of his servant who stole his watch. One day, the rich man wake from his sleep to find his watch missing from his place. He doubted one his servants and planned to find that particular servant who turned as a thief. He ordered to assemble all of his servants and gave everyone a stick and said that the stick in the hands of the thief will grow an inch extra by the next day.

The thief had no sleep that night and he planed to cut an inch from the stick in order to escape the punishment. On the next day the, everyone's sticks were in the same size except the thief's. The rich man found the thief and punished.
