The moral of the poem is....

WE NEED TO LIVE IN SUCH A WAY THAT PEOPLE REMEMBER AND ADMIRE US.

The king was arrogant and rude thats why his people did not like him. A king should rule his people fondly and caringly......

It basically tells that nothing in this world is permanent.. Ozymandias had got a huge statue built for himself to show his power because he wanted his successors to look upon his great work and have a feeling of despair. But nothing is remaining beside his statue which also is lying in sand half sunk. His beautiful kingdom which he had created so that his followers would look up to is now nothing but a vast deserted land.
