Manure➫ A fertilizer made from animal waste.

➧ It better to use compost than chemical fertilizers because:-

It is an organic compound which can be prepared in fields or homes by the decomposition of different organic waste.Manures add humus to the soil and doesn't harm the crop if used in excessive amount.

There are more two classification under manures . these are :

● Compost - it is prepared by the decomposition of domestic organic waste and farm waste such as dry leaves , weeds , the preparation is done in a compost pit. The process of producing compost is basically termed as composting .

● Green manure - crops like sunn , hemp are grown in field before sowing of seeds . when the seedlings of these plants are young they are ploughed back. when these plants get decomposed the seeds are sown. This provides a lot of nutrients to the plants.
