Conclusion of mission bhagiratha:

On August 7, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 'Mission Bhagirath' at Komitibanda village under Gazvel assembly segment of Medak district of Telangana. It is a project to supply drinking water through a tap, which is valued at Rs 42 thousand crore.

Mission Bhagirath was to be completed by 2018. By that time, drinking water will be available through pipes in large parts of the state. Simultaneously, agricultural and industrial needs can also be accomplished.
