I would be very glad if you could give me some space in your reputable newspaper to express my views on the above topic.
The lighting in my community is very poor. This is because most of the bulbs are fused. Most of the bulbs supplied in the district are of inferior quality. Whenever the bulbs are bought, they only last a week or two and they become damaged again. Bulbs are supplies frequently, but they are being damaged constantly. Frankly speaking, I believe that the residents of my community are very irresponsible. They fix the switches at unfamiliar places. Because the residents do not know where the switches are, they keep the lights off. This leaves the community in total darkness.
First of all, this is having a lot of adverse effects on the residents in my community. The community has witnessed a lot of road accidents. These accidents occur frequently. Because there are no streetlights, people do not see when there is an oncoming car. The car hits a person and leaves. Also, because there are no streetlights in my community, it has increased the ever-present crime rate in my community. Therefore, robbers acquire easy and free opportunities for their operations, due to the non-existance of streetlights.
In conclusion, the lighting in my community is very poor. This is due to the fact that lights have been stolen and the residents are very irresponsible. This has frequently caused a lot of accidents and robberies. In addition, it has reduced productivity greatly. I am pleading with you to help us solve our problem.
