More than ogive and less than ogive for a given data with mean 23 meet at (20,22). To find its mode, we first find the median,
after then we can apply Empirical formula of central tendency.
As we know that Intersection point of 'More than ogive' and ' Less than ogive' give Median at x -axis.
So here Intersection point (20,22)
Median = 20
Mean = 23[given]
Empirical Formula:
3 Median = 2Mean + Mode
Mode = 3 Median - 2 Mean
Mode = 3×20-2×23
Mode=60-46
Mode=14
Hope it helps you.
