Abstract : In the Woina Dega region of Ethiopia (altitude 1, 200 to 1, 800 m.), Fasciola hepática and F. gigantica both occur, both species frequently parasitizing the same animal. The species are distinguished by the morphology of the testes: those of F. hepática are ramified, canaliculated and moderately sinuous while those of F. gigantica are extremely sinuous and tightly coiled.
