But the food which is though to be necessary by the american as the Thanksgivingdinner is "Turkey" and that also the roasted turkey . Also their are many other dishes which are considered important for the occasion like the mashed potato, corn , stuffed things as well as the cranberry sauce etc. The people used to eat more than their regular dinner in the thanksgiving dinner with the traditional cooked foods.
