(a) The main occupation of the Aryans was agriculture.They used to plough the land and grow crops.
(b) Cattle-rearing was another occupation. The cow was considered very sacred and was not killed.
(c) They were very good at weaving cloth, tanning leather and making ornaments.They were carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths,
tanners, potters and weavers.
(d) Barter system was popular in trade.
