What lies within us in more important than what lies outside.
A pencil has two aspects. Outside which is colorful & beautiful wooden casing. And the inner side which is its very substance lead.
In similar way, we have outside which is our looks, presence & personality. And inner which is all about being a genuine & sincere person.
Unless what is within you comes out , you can not make an impact.
When the lead comes out then only the pencil can write, makes an impact on paper.
Similarly in our lives as well, unless what's within us comes out ,virtue of our personality we can't make an impact. Our personality can impress but being a genuine person can inspire.
Unless you go through sharpening what's within you will not come out.
The pencil has to go through painful sharpening before the sharp lead comes out .
Similarly, in our lives unless we go through sharpening the best things within us will never come out. As they say ~
