Most leaves are broad and thin.Suggest why this is helpful?

● Sometimes, it helps in photosynthesis because the leaves being broad and thin increases the excitement of chlorophyll molecules contained in them , further absorbing energy for more energy which is later required to break the OH- ions.

➡️they are thin since light cannot penetrate too deeply into the leaf (the amount of light decreases exponentially with distance). moreover, diffusion of gases like carbon dioxide and oxygen can be done effectively.
