most of the leaves have the upper surface more greenish in colour and shinny thn the lower ones becoz the upper layer contains cuticle which is transparent gell.....it protects leaf frm the more temperature and if the cuticle would nt b thr thn there would b more transpiration process....

Answer:

most leaves have the upper surface greener  and  shiner than the lower ones  because have more  chloroplast which help in photosynthesis. also the thick layer on the  upper surface of the leaf makes it shinny.
