Heya !!

====================

Here is your answer !!!

=============================

North west monsoon winds blow during winter season. They blow from land to sea. As they pass over the Bay of Bengal, they pick up moisture and cause rain to the coromandal coast (Tamil Nadu). ... Hence most of India remains dry during North west monsoon.

Hope it will help you !!!
