The correct form will be-

Most of the factual information "is" wrong. Some of it at the most elementary level.

Information as a mass noun:

  • The noun information has no plural form as it is a mass noun.
  • This means that information is a singular noun, hence it will be always followed by 'singular verb forms.'
  • However, when it is used for a single fact or detail it can be written as a bit of information or piece of information.

In the above text , information is followed by 'are- a plural verb form' hence we correct that error and change the verb to 'is'.
