The best example is the Bretton Woods Institutions - World Bank and the IMF. The heads of these institutions is either an American or a European. Despite the increase in the economic weight of the developing countries, their vote share has not been increased in these institutions. As a result the BRICS nations have created their own Infrastructure funding agency, which is headquartered in China.
