Given : sailboats

Triangle shape

To Find : area

Solution:

Area of Triangle = (1/2) * b * h

Area of Left one

= (1/2) 10.9 * 19.5  + (1/2) (21.9) * 8.6

= 106.275 + 94.17

= 200.445

= 200.4 m²

Right side one

Smaller area = (1/2) * 3 * 8.9 = 13.35  = 13.4 m²

Bigger one

= (1/2) *9.6 * 16.8  + (1/2) * 25 * 12.4

= 80.64 + 155

= 235.64

= 235.6 m²

Answer:

235.64

Step-by-step explanation:

ABC AC =22+20=42

bd=height=22.3

ABC=1/2 multiplied 42 multiplied 22.3=936.6/2

ACE, EF=height=16.8

AC=base=22+22=42m

ACE=1/2 multiplied 42 multiplied 16.8=705.6/2=352.8

area of ABCE=468.3+352.8=821.1msquare in sail boat
