because they are suffering from myopia in which distant objects not seen clearly .....this solved by wearing concave lens

They are wearing glasses which have concave lens and the power of the concave lens is -n(depending upon how bad the eyesight is) dioptre. The defect in their eye is called Myopia or near-sightedness. If they can't still see the words written on the blackboard wearing glasses then their lens power (dioptre) is increased.
