Most of us in India claim our rights but do not perform our duties, e.g. all of us want good roads but are not willing to look after them. How does this affect a country’s development? Illustrate with two examples.

This "taking, but no giving back" method essentially does reduce the country's development. For example, our right to freedom of speech and expression. This right is a boon provided to us, but often times it is misused in political cases.

EG 2: People also misuse "Right to Education" by altering their birth statuses to receive free education, or discounted education. This is highly unfair to those born poor/unable to pay for education. Everyone deserves their rights, but thus we are obligated to fulfill our duties so to prevent the downfall of development in our country.

Explanation:

(take note, there is a fundamental duty that says: To abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem. So, we have to abide by the fundamental rights and not misuse it.
