Given,

Sleep duration per day = 8 hours

To find,

The sleep part of a whole year.

The total sleeping time of a 60 years old person in year unit.

Solution,

We know that,

1 week = 7 days = 168 hours

Sleep duration in 1 week = 7×8 = 56 hours

Sleep part of 1 week = 56 hours / 168 hours = 1/3

Now,

1 year = 365 days

Sleep in 1 year = 365 × 8 = 2920 hours

Sleep in 60 years = 2920 × 60 = 175200 hours

Now,

8760 hours = 1 year

1 hour = 1/8760 year

175200 hours = 175200/8760 = 20 years

Hence, a person sleeps 2/3rd part of a week. And, a 60 years old person slept for 20 years.
