Word Wrap and Type Over features in Word processor.

Explanation:

  • Word Wrap is a feature in word processing which causes the word processor to compel all text to fit within the specified margins. Once you fill in one line with text, the word processor immediately moves to the next line so that you do not need to keep track of line lengths and after each line clicks the return key. Word wrapping also happens when the margins change. Word Wrap inserts, at the end of each line, a soft return.
  • Editing feature type over replaces current text with newly keyed text (also known as Overstrike or Overtype). In Microsoft Word, overtype mode will overwrite text as user types to the right of the cursor. Normally entering and exiting this mode is by pressing Insert Key.
