Answer:

Synthetic clothes catches fire easily and melt on heating. These are produced by man by chemicals.Synthetic fibres like Polyester catches fire very easily and melts. After melting It sticks to the body of the person wearing it causing severe burns.

Answer:

We wear cotton clothes while working in the kitchen because cotton is a poor conductor of heat and electricity and if we wear synthetic clothes, the clothes will catch fire as synthetic is a good conductor of heat. So, cotton clothes are more preferred.

Explanation:

Synthetic fibers melt on heating. If they catch fire, they melt and stick to the body of the person wearing them. This is why it is advised not to wear clothes made of synthetic fiber while working in a kitchen or in a fire laboratory.
