Mother Teresa was born in Yugoslavia on 27th August, 1910. Her childhood name was Anjeze Gonxhe Bojaxhiu. She took her primary education at a Government School of Yugoslavia.Mother Teresa had a beautiful heart. She decided to work to eliminate the sufferings of the humanity and the misery of the helpless. She stayed in India in major portion of her life. When she was 18 years old, spiritual life of the missionaries attracted her. In 1928 she came to Calcutta (now Kolkata) with a message of love. At first she began her work as a teacher at Calcutta. When she was working as a teacher she saw the distress of the slum dwellers which touched her heart deeply. She resigned from the service with the permission of the Church and stood amongst the half-fed and half-clothed children. She converted herself to an Indian. She started to put on Indian dresses and tried to take Indian food. In a short time she became familiar to all as a social worker. She established a school for the poor children. Afterwards, she founded the Missionaries of Charity. Then she founded Nirmal Hriday. Not only in India but also in abroad there are branches of Nirmal Hriday. There are many other branches of ‘Missionaries of Charity’ which is now working as the service centre to the poor and distressed people. In 1979, she was awarded the Noble Prize for peace. Government of India conferred ‘Padmashri’ upon her for her selfless service.Mother Teresa is the mother of the world. She loved everyone and was loved by everyone. She had devoted her entire life in the service of poor, diseased, and under-privileged people. Many people from around the world had come to meet her, and to seek her blessings. She passed on 5th of September, 1997 and the whole world paid their tribute to this noble lady of the present century.

Many allegations were labelled on her but she took all of this positively she had the view that poor need food and love.

In 1948 she stabilised "Missionaries of charity" and started working for the poor class of society this is the reason why she got server awards in country and also in aboard.

In 1979 she got "Nobel Prize" for Peace. she gives us a light through a life, inspiration and her concepts of universal brotherhood. Her life is a great Saga of self sacrifices. This is the reason why even today generation called her name with love and Pride.

The chief priest of Kalighat Temple in Kolkata was suffering from leprosy. All priest of the temple decided to to get him out. After this incident he was left alone and no one took care of him so he started beginning.

once near a Gota he was crying over his fate. Mother teresa saw his condition and brought him to Nirmal Hriday. She served him but after some days he died. Before his death his head was on Mother lap. He sad "I had been in Kali temple for survival years but never saw God. Today I have seen God is near me in you"

we should also accept a good concept, inspiration and sympathy to show a sign of pity towards poor and oppressed.

Dear children, we also need to have the greatness that came through Mother Teresa near us. We need to be filled with those virtues in in us so that we will achieve something potential in our life and live for others.
