Hello friend

Motion is a relative concept

When you are traveling in a car and look at a tree outside through the window, it seems to you as if the tree is moving and you aren't.

For a person running on the road , you seem to move.

So, here to say whether an object is in motion it relates to who is observing or the observer. In simpler words, state of motion or rest is relative to the observer.

Hope it helps!

Hello Dear

:D

Relative Motion

The motion of an object B w.r.t. object A which is moving or stationary is called as relative motion.

Relative velocity of an object B w.r.t. object A when both are in motion is the rate of change of position of object B w.r.t. object A.

Relative velocity of object B w.r.t. object A, Vba =Vb - Ba
